our history
In 1982 Paul Rivard started to manufacture trusses. As most small business owners Paul was hands on from design, cutting, assembly and delivery. Over the next 25 years Paul developed loyal customers that appreciated his knowledge. In 2005 Rivard Engineered Products purchased the operation from Paul.
Expansion
Increased sales enabled the company to expand their operation, thus relocating to 14 Cameron Side Road. The next 5 years the production capacity was increased dramatically by upgrading manufacturing equipment and adding additional saw capacity, extending gantry tables and overhead laser projectors. During the same period, our staff of designers and experienced production labour grew to meet demand.

From 2016 to the present the corporation has experienced steady growth through customer loyalty. In 2019 the plant was expanded to over 30,000 square feet to accommodate a second production line. This expansion increases our production capacity significantly to meet our customers’ needs.

WHAT WE DO.
Rivard Engineered Products Inc. builds wood roof trusses servicing the Windsor and the South Western Ontario Region. We design and manufacture trusses for residential, agricultural and commercial projects. Our estimating and design staff have many years of experience in complex residential roofs and commercial projects. Our production staff is well trained and take pride in their effort to build a quality product.
